Founded in 1979, we offer you the experience to make your trip unforgettable.
Canodal has been in Ed since 1979, making it one of the oldest canoe rentals in south-west Sweden. We stand for many years of experience and the good quality of our rental equipment.

I’m Till and I am the owner of Canodal since taking over the business in 2022.
I first came to Dalsland as a canoe guide when I was just 18 years old and fell in love with it immediately. As a keen forester, forager, hunter, fisherman and general nature lover, this environment is where I feel I belong.
Now, after more than 20 years working in Dalsland and guiding many tours, I am excited to share with you my enthusiasm and expertise from our base here on Stora Le.

Our Location
The Canodal Camp
Located at the southern tip of the mighty Stora Le Lake is the tranquil town of Ed. Halfway between Gothenburg and Oslo, connected to the railway network, the place offers the perfect starting point for your canoe trip.
The camp is located about 1 kilometer from the center. There you will find supermarkets that are open every day, restaurants, the train station and all other everyday necessities.
Furthermore, the area is suitable for hiking, cycling or a visit to the moose park.
